Pharmacy technicians work in a variety of environments, including hospitals, community pharmacies, and long-term care pharmacies. If you are interested in health care, and have an aptitude for science, problem solving and organization, and a desire to assist patients who require a range of pharmacy services, the Pharmacy Technician program may be a perfect fit for you.

OSSD or equivalent, or 19 years of age or older with mature student status. Grade 12 English (C or U), OR Conestoga College Preparatory Communications (COMM1251). Grade 11 or 12 Biology (C or U), or equivalent, OR Conestoga College Preparatory Biology (SCIE1010). Grade 11 or 12 Chemistry (C or U), or equivalent, Conestoga College preparatory Chemistry (SCIE1030). Grade 12 Math, (C or U) Conestoga College Preparatory Mathematics (MATH1420).

Test Scores:
  • International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 5.5] or Canadian Academic English Language Assessment [min. 70] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 80] or Pearson Test of English (Academic) [min. 51]
